Call for Speakers
The Hispanic Public Relations Association (HPRA), the Hispanic PR Blog and Hispanicize are holding a national open call for speakers, presenters and panelists for Hispanicize 2012, the 3nd Annual Hispanic PR & Social Media Conference being held in Miami, April 11-13, 2012.
This national conference is focused on delivering quality, professional development content that is relevant to a diverse audience of communicators that includes brands, bloggers, agencies, non profit and government marketing professionals.
The deadline to submit your speaking request is December 20, 2011. All final decisions on speakers and sessions will be handled by the 25-member national advisory board of the conference in consultation with organizers and will be announced by late January 2011. Every applicant will be notified in writing so please do not call organizers regarding acceptance or rejection of your submission.
Proposal Review, Interview and Notification Process
Hispanicize 2012’s national advisory board will review submissions received by the deadline. Submissions will be reviewed, evaluated and references may be checked by our board and/or conference staff. You may be contacted for additional information.
Our advisory board will complete an in-depth review of the submissions and make selections based on their evaluations as well as overall program balance.
Instructions for Completing the Call for Speakers
1. Submit no more than two presentations per person
2. The submission deadline is Monday, December 20, 2011
3. All presenters chosen will be required to sign a speaker agreement form prior to presenting and all content presented at the conference may be used to be rebroadcast nationally by the Hispanic PR Blog and Hispanicize through various media, including the Internet without compensation to said speaker(s)
